CALVARY CHAPEL PRAYER FORCE
Week of August 29th through September 4th 2010
As we look for opportunities to serve our church body, our community, our nation and our world, the greatest FORCE for change is daily committed prayer.
The purpose of the CALVARY CHAPEL PRAYER FORCE is to commit to specific prayer to bring specific answers.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Eph.6:18

Psalm 62:7-8

And my refuge, is in God.
Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us.

Praise the Lord that the United States has officially backed a Burma “war crimes” panel and inquiry. President Obama supports the creation of an international commission that will investigate war crimes allegedly committed by the ruling military junta. The Burmese army is not bashful about it: their goal is to exterminate the Karen people. The Arakan and Chin people are also targeted. Pray for peace, that the UN would step in and do their job, and that the Lord would have a victory through this terrible tragedy. Pray for the steadfast faith of believers. Pray humanitarian aid will reach those in need.
