If you happen to be, as the old saying goes, healthy, wealthy, and wise you may have the idea that there is nothing else you need to know! But God in His infinite wisdom has seen fit to place in every living human being the need for spiritual fulfillment. Even without trouble in our lives there is an empty place in our souls that need filling, and it can only be filled by the love of God.

We may try to fill the emptiness with all of the things that the world has to offer - material goods, alcohol, drugs, work, friends, sex, academic endeavors. But these things can only give temporary fulfillment. Our souls still yearns for something better.

More than anything else God loves us and wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. He loves us so much that He sent His beloved Son to the earth in the form of man to suffer and die a terrible death in order to bring us into a right relationship with Him. Jesus Christ became the only acceptable sacrifice. And it is through Him that we can have hope, peace and the promise of eternal life.

If you will admit that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior, and ask God to forgive you and invite Jesus Christ into your life, He will fill that empty spot and give you the peace and assurance of eternal life with God...

Jesus made this promise: "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him ..."
